“During my high school time, I always notice there is a group of students wear different colour uniform and have different timing for school. Then, I found out they are from PPKI program. The awareness of Special Needs is low, that makes me want to study more about special needs and I got my Degree in Special Education. After years of teaching, I realized I can contribute more if I am in the management role and I got my Master Degree in Management. People are changing, as a special educator needs to keep learning and monitor the trend in order to provide better service according to the needs.”

"Therapy looks different for everyone, and I consider it an honor to be a safe space for children, teens, and adults during difficult moments. Being a clinical psychologist often means meeting families when they are at their most vulnerable. Helping them navigate that process by tapping into their inner strengths and turning hurdles into practical outcomes is a rewarding process. Ultimately, my goal is to work together with families to instill hope, make a real difference, and help clients lead more meaningful and productive lives."

Every special needs child has their own way to communicate and interact with others. Hope that I can help them create a positive difference in their lives.”

“My inspiration to become a speech therapist came from an interaction I had with a young special needs child when I was a teenager. Her unique way of communication made me interested to learn more. Speech therapy is not just a job but something where my heart is. I hope to help every child reach their potential and communicate meaningfully with others.”

“Ever since I was in secondary school, I’ve always wanted to be a special needs teacher. This desire came from observing those in the special needs class in my school . Now, through my determination and the right qualifications, I’ve managed to pursue my dream and am dedicated to making education accessible for all students.”

“I enjoy working with special needs children because they often teach us as much as we teach them. I became a special needs teacher because I was a problematic child myself and understand the frustration of being reprimanded for not following instructions, even when having a different perspective. My goal is to help these children learn and meet societal expectations. While it can be challenging, being a special needs teacher is incredibly rewarding.”

" With a deep-rooted background in Learning Disorder Management and Child Psychology, my career is driven by a passion for understanding the intricate ways young minds develop. To me, working with special needs children is a continuous journey of discovery rather than just a profession. “I have a cousin that is a high functioning ADD. When he was younger, I noticed the lack of understanding and awareness towards him and other special needs in general. I went on to study and educated myself more about special needs and along the journey managed to find a job as a Special Needs Teacher in Hatching Center.”

“My passion grew for special needs education when helping with my ASD niece who is in her 20s now and my son who was a delayed learner, a severe picky eater, had silent reflux & had speech delay. I poured in a lot of time and effort to help him and he is now at par with his peers at 12yo. This helped me decide a few years back to study and pursue a new career in Special Needs Education with the hope to help more children. Watching children progress and grow brings a lot of joy to me.”
